1745 supposed groundbreaking
Before the building was finished the revolution began
It had a wide front with 23 window axes, behind the house was a big terrace garden
Through an auction sale the former mayor of Landstuhl, J.A. Mayer bought it
As long as he was the mayor he kept an inn with the name “Zum Goldenen Adler, what means Golden Eagle in the house
After his death the Sander family gained the house and kept the inn
For decades it was the way station for the farmers of the “Sickingen Altitude”
Until the drainage in 1795 the pond Porten was at the side of the building until 1830 the Pond Street was built
The manor was redesigned pretty often and the picture of the stateliness is not quite the same today
